Birthday Celebration at Sakae Sushi

Location: Sakae Sushi, TradeHub 21

My dad turns 57 today! 爸,生日快乐!Happy Birthday Pa!

We had the celebration earlier over the weekend as my brother was scheduled for night shift today.

The location was decided by no other but ME. Ha!

When my mum asked me where we shall go for the celebration, this particular place came to my mind. Reasons being – My parent has always been open to Japanese cuisine, while Dylan and I LOVE it. This branch has private rooms where we need to remove our footwear to enter, hence the kids can mingle around in the room while we adults get to sit down to enjoy our meals without the fear of the little ones wondered out of our sight. Next is the BIG plus point, they have a well-equip outdoor playground where we can easily access from our room by a sliding door. Cool isn’t it?

For parent like us having young kids, dining out can be really taxing. But with a family orientated restaurant, we can have our meal in peace. Kids get to play, we adults get to eat.

So there we were, a jolly good time spent together! Yeah!

I lost track of how many dishes we had ordered, but one thing for sure, we all filled our stomachs till the max! Dylan ate to his heart content too, helping himself to the sushi and many side dishes. This boy of mine sure can eat!

While we were half-way through our food, Dylan was done and he requested to play at the playground. Request granted, off he went to have some fun while I snapped some pictures of him.

Devan and my 9 months old niece joined us shortly. I deposit Devan into the ball pit and he went crazy! My 1 year old dived himself into the pool of balls, he was practically screaming in joy! Oh my, I had not seemed him like this when in a new environment.

The playground really gave us some breather and seeing the kiddos played to their fullest is so satisfying.

We managed to clear all the food and ended our dinner with a durian cake – my dad’s favorite. No kidding, I thought I was going to burst with all the food inside me. Sinful it is, but I like it! Ha!

The food, no doubt, they were so yumilicious! The place, thumbs-up! The people, I LOVE you all!

Great food, great company = happiness! ^ ^

Ps- To book for the private room, a minimum spending of SGD100 has to be applied. Otherwise a SGD10 will be charged.
