Strawberry (With White Hair), Anyone?

What would you do when you have a few strawberries with white hairs sticking out from them staring at you?

Freak out? Scream? Immediately dump them into the rubbish bin? Or study them?

It was the usual weekday afternoon and I was planning to get some strawberries out of the fridge for Dylan to munch on while I was preparing our dinner. But I guessed them decided to spice up my day with a little surprise. And, they sure did!

It took me a minute or two to collect myself after I saw what I saw, went off to get my camera, took a few pictures and carefully studied them before dumping them away.
Gosh, they sure look creepy aren’t them. But, at the same time, it’s amazing how on earth such teeny weeny organism can grow in such flowery pattern. Lots of tiny buds can be seemed clearly at the end of each and every strand of the ‘hair’.

There goes my whole box of strawberries bought 2 days ago.

Where is the quality check anyway?

this shown that there is no fungicide on the strawberry.

Yuck! I hate when that happens. And it grosses me out that any strawberries I ate on the previous days were so close to being moldy. Yuck!

Thanks for stopping by Life Happens During Naptime and giving me Wordpress vs Blogger feedback. I'm still trying to figure oout which direction to take.

It's a good thing to know no fungicide is present... but the sight of it sure freak me out.

I hate it too when I find a newly-bought punnet of strawberries mouldy... Often happens so what I do now is take them out immediately and use kitchen paper towel to 'dry' them before storing in a bowl.
