His Virgin Ride In a Baby Walker
Yes, it was Devan’s first to be in a baby walker, at 14 months.
For the next 15 mins or so, he just stood there inside the walker without shifting an inch, thinking it was another exersaucer similar to the one we have at home. Then, he started to fuss, as he thought he couldn’t reach for the toys while being trapped in the walker. He even got a scare when the walker suddenly moved and we adults had a good laugh out of it.
Anyway, he doesn’t like it, not when he’s able to patrol the house on 2 feet now!
………
I don’t use baby walker for my kiddos, Dylan had never been in one, while Devan had a taste of it just recently.
When Dylan came along 4 years ago, my mom and I had been debating of getting a walker, mostly out of the benefit of convenience for my mom when she babysits Dylan. But I stood my ground, NO baby walker.
I was warned of the potential danger of using a baby walker. Some countries even ban them, just imagine that. (For details of baby walker, click HERE)
Instead we got an exersaucer for our little chap, a good investment indeed.

Yeah, it looks like he doesn't like it. Our Baby S had a walker but she hardly used it because she learned to walk really fast.
I didn't use it for y kids too 1
Following you from MBC, please follow me back when you get a chance !

That exersaucer thing is magic, isn't it? Although Peanut stopped really wanting to spend time in it, when she started moving.
hypermom,
Yes, he gave us the sour face haha.
Sarah,
It sure is! I managed to get things done when I dumped my boys in it. And the best thing is, it serves us well for the past 4 years!
now devan choose to play it while standing OUTside of the exersaucer. =)
